The post Canna Bees Rescue Blend CBD Infused Honey: Honest Goodness Review appeared first on Earlybird CBD Blog.
]]>In this article, we’re writing an honest review about Bee Delightful’s Canna Bees Rescue Blend. We’ll talk about the company, explain why they created this product, cover the product details, and share what customers are saying about it.
Bee Delightful’s Canna Bees Rescue Blend is made with raw unfiltered honey and is carefully infused with high-quality CBD isolate. The company sells 4.7 oz. jars in two different CBD potencies — 250mg and 500mg. Also, the CBD honey is available in single-serving snap-packs that contain 20mg of CBD.
The wildflower honey is produced by rescued bees in Central Texas that have been relocated to treatment-free apiaries. Canna Bees honey is tested by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to ensure there are no detectable traces of pesticides. Additionally, the company sources its hemp from organic hemp farms in Colorado, Oregon, and Kentucky.
Bee Delightful was founded by Skyler Johnstone and Seth Nyer in 2017. The company is based in Austin, Texas and has a very noble mission — to save the bees. Over the last several decades, honey bees in the United States have experienced a significant decline in health. Some of the causes include exposure to pesticides, diseases, lack of forage, and interferences with electromagnetic frequencies (EMFs) from cell towers.

Bee Delightful is making a significant contribution to help save bees and ensure they have a future. To date, the company has helped rescue 70 colonies, which totals more than 2 million honey bees. Bees not only make delicious, golden honey, they also have a major role in maintaining a sustainable food supply. This is what makes this company special and drives them in their efforts. Through the sales of Canna Bees CBD Infused Honey, Bee Delightful continues to support national honey bee rescue operators.
The company is clearly passionate about raw unfiltered honey and saving bees. In addition, they’re also advocates for the hemp plant, which is why they’ve chosen to combine the two.
The Canna Bees Rescue Blend CBD Infused Honey contains only two ingredients — raw honey and CBD hemp extract. Its Texas wildflower honey comes from treatment-free beekeeping, whereby the beekeepers take a hands-off approach. The bees get to live in the most natural way possible, so they don’t pollinate flowers sprayed with pesticides. With less interference and less stress, the bees are able to produce amazing tasting honey while living in harmony with nature.
The second ingredient in the CBD infused honey is hemp extract. Bee Delightful sources its hemp from organic farms in the U.S. These farms utilize organic and sustainable farming practices to produce high-quality hemp plants. Then, the company isolates CBD from the plants before infusing it into the raw honey. Lab tests confirm that the only cannabinoid present in the product is cannabidiol (CBD). Also, the CBD content illustrated on the cannabinoid profile matches the CBD content in each jar and snap-pack of honey.
There are two price points for a jar of Canna Bees Rescue Blend Hemp Honey. One option is a 4.7-ounce jar that contains raw honey plus 250mg of CBD for $29.99. The second option comes in the same size jar, but with 500mg of CBD and the cost is $49.99.

As for the snap-packs of honey, there’s 20mg of CBD in each single-serving pack, and the price is $59.99 for a box of 30 snap-packs. Snap, Squeeze, Relieve on the go with these portable doses of Canna Bees. Compared to other CBD honey products, the Canna Bees brand is priced fair. Plus, there’s a lot of added value because the honey is raw, unfiltered, and pesticide-free. It also contains good quality hemp and high CBD potency.
Canna Bees CBD Infused Honey is a versatile product. You can mix the honey with a hot cup of tea, coffee, or in a smoothie. Use it as a replacement in your baked goods or breakfast. Adding some to your muffin mix in place of sugar, or pour on top of your waffles, instead of adding syrup. Some people love to enjoy a teaspoon or more all by itself. The options can extend as far as your imagination.
“The honey tastes amazing and the CBD is calming. I’ve actually bought this for several other people since trying it out and they all rave about it. Highly recommend!” – Ryan C.
“I take a spoonful before bed and I’ve never slept this well. I wake up feeling very refreshed.” – Genie N.
“The honey is like using a weighted blanket. It’s like a comforting hug from a friend.” – Sarah O.
“Amazing! So glad I decided to try it. I love the fact that they rescue bees! – Goddesstt
There’s a lot to love about Canna Bees Rescue Blend CBD Infused Honey. Bee Delightful is making a positive impact on the lives of bees and people with its ingenious product. Honey bees get to live in a treatment-free home, have a better chance of long-term survival, and in the process, they’re contributing to the local and global food system. The company has created the perfect environment for the honey bees, which allow them to thrive and produce some amazing tasting honey.
Furthermore, the honey is infused with CBD extracted from organically grown hemp. The CBD is carefully isolated to leave customers with pure and potent CBD. You get the benefits of raw honey and CBD, all in one bite. What’s not to love about that?

]]>The post How to Read a Cannabinoid Profile: Featuring Actual COAs appeared first on Earlybird CBD Blog.
]]>While looking into various CBD brands and products, confirm the existence of third-party lab testing results. This lab report is often called a Certificate of Analysis, or COA. Companies generally elect to test products to confirm cannabinoid potency. The COA shows this cannabinoid potency in a section called the ‘cannabinoid profile’. This section is the key to discovering the contents inside a CBD product.
In this article, we’ll explain how to read a cannabinoid profile using two real-world COAs and walk you through how to read them. We’ll also discuss why lab reports are important, and what else goes into the creation of a CBD product. By the end, you’ll feel more confident in knowing what exactly you’re putting in (or on) your body!
As mentioned above, there are no quality-control standards in place on CBD products. Because CBD products that target the general population are not yet regulated.
For an industry that’s seen nothing but growth, this can be a bit concerning. New CBD brands are popping up frequently. So, it can be hard to discern which brands have your best interest in mind and which ones are just looking to make a quick buck.
The range of CBD products available today is all over the board. Some products are fantastic, some are good;, yet others are average, sub-par, or even terrible. Poor quality CBD products can come without labels or even worse, they’re synthetic knock-offs.
Fortunately, for the sake of consumer health, top brands and industry leaders in the CBD space believe in transparency. CBD companies like NuLeaf Naturals and CBDistillery publish COAs on their website. By making these lab reports available, they’re proving they have nothing to hide.
A potential customer can read through the results and make an informed decision about whether to buy their product or not. In an unregulated marketplace, being transparent about their product separates companies from the rest of the pack.
At Earlybird CBD, we only partner with the best and most trusted CBD manufacturers in the industry. These companies send their products to third-party independent labs, who rigorously test every single product before making them available for sale.
To better understand a cannabinoid profile, it helps to first understand the general composition of a CBD product. Every product either contains a CBD hemp extract or a CBD isolate as the base ingredient. Most products contain additional ingredients such as carrier oils, thinning agents, herbs, and essential oils.
The distinction between CBD hemp extract and CBD isolates is worth noting.
CBD hemp extract contains naturally occurring cannabinoids found in hemp. It also has other beneficial properties like flavonoids and terpenes. These components exist in what is referred to as a ‘Full Spectrum’ CBD product, providing what is known as the entourage effect.
CBD isolate is a crystalline substance created by isolating CBD from the rest of the hemp plant’s compounds. What remains after this processing, is a product that’s usually 95%+ pure CBD.
Understanding these differences can be valuable when it’s time to read and interpret the results of a COA.
Besides testing for cannabinoid levels, some companies elect to have their products tested for contaminants such as heavy metals, pesticides, solvents, and mold.
Cannabinoids are responsible for the therapeutic properties people look for in a CBD product. The most common cannabinoid found in hemp is CBD. Hemp also has small traces of the other well-known cannabinoid, THC, and some lesser-known molecules like CBC and CBG.
CBD companies test the cannabinoid levels of their products for several reasons. The first is to verify the potency of any given product. The potency is generally expressed in milligrams, such as 500 mg of CBD per 15 mL bottle. To find this information on a lab test, you would need to look at the cannabinoid profile.
The cannabinoid profile is important because it proves whether a company is in compliance with federal law. To remain compliant with the 2018 Farm Bill, any product derived from hemp cannot contain more than 0.3% THC. One way to verify the levels of THC is to have this test performed.

Now that we’ve covered some background information, let’s explain how to read a cannabinoid profile. The best way to do this is by showing you an actual copy of a lab report. For this example, we’ll look at ProVerde Labs Test Certificate for CBDistillery’s 1000 mg Full Spectrum CBD Tincture. By the way, we pulled this report from the company’s website.
Before studying this report in detail, please take note of the abbreviation ‘ND’. It’s shown in both the ‘Weight %’ and ‘Conc.’ columns and it stands for ‘none detected’.

The top of this lab report includes a description of the tested product. We’ll need this information later on when we perform some calculations. On the right-hand side, you can see the company name, CBDistillery.
Moving down the report, you’ll arrive at the cannabinoid profile. The column labeled ‘ID’ lists the cannabinoids that were tested. The next column discloses the ‘Weight %’ of each cannabinoid. And the third column shows the concentration of each cannabinoid in mg per mL.
Two of the most critical pieces of information are contained in the line items; Max THC and Max CBD. You can see that ‘Max THC’ by weight is only 0.16%. This falls well below the legal limit of 0.3%.
The number presented in the ‘Max CBD’ line item will help us assess the accuracy of the potency level shown on CBDistilley’s product label. According to the product description at the top of the report, this product contains 1,000 mg of CBD in its 30 mL bottle. Let’s see how the math holds up.
The goal is to confirm that the 30 mL bottle actually contains 1,000 mg of CBD. It doesn’t have to be 1,000 mg exactly, just a number that’s reasonably close.
We do this by multiplying the amount of CBD per mL by the total number of mL in the bottle. The report indicates that there’s 35.50 mg of CBD per mL (‘Max CBD’). Multiply this number by 30 mL (total amount of mL per bottle).
35.50 mg/mL x 30 mL = 1,065 mg of CBD
Then compare 1,065 mg of CBD to the actual amount of 1,000 mg per the product label. These two numbers are close and their small difference is reasonable.
Lastly, this report also provides confirmation that CBDistillery’s product is indeed a Full Spectrum CBD tincture. We know this because CBD isn’t the only cannabinoid that shows up on the lab report.
A THC-free or CBD isolate product only contains CBD. As such, we wouldn’t expect to see the presence of other cannabinoids on the lab report.
In this example, the product name, ‘500mg-30mL Pure CBD Oil’ appears in the top left-hand corner. The right side of the Certificate of Analysis (COA) shows the company name, Balanced Health Botanicals. This is the parent company of CBDistillery.

When looking at the cannabinoid profile on the COA, you can see the product only contains CBD. Each of the other cannabinoids tested, including THC, came back at zero percent. This confirms that the product is, in fact, a THC-free CBD tincture.
Next, to prove the potency level of 500 mg of CBD is accurate, we need to perform a calculation.
The COA found that for every gram of oil there is 18.4 mg of CBD. And 1 gram is equal to 1 mL. So, the math looks like this:
18.4 mg/mL x 30 mL = 552 mg of CBD
Like the first calculation, the result of 552 mg of CBD is slightly higher than the actual CBD concentration of 500 mg shown on the product label. But, this is a reasonable difference.
After walking through the cannabinoid profiles on these two lab reports, we hope you have a better understanding of this topic. Before buying your next CBD product, read over the COAs and put your new-found knowledge to the test!

]]>The post How to Read a CBD Lab Report: A Complete Review appeared first on Earlybird CBD Blog.
]]>Two primary reasons consumers rely on lab reports is to confirm the potency levels of CBD and THC. For a hemp-derived CBD product to be compliant with federal regulations, it cannot contain more than 0.3% THC.
As for CBD levels, consumers like to know that the amount of CBD on the label is accurate. Not all CBD companies operate with integrity. But the ones that do, generally care about transparency. Paying for third-party lab testing is one way of being transparent.
The term ‘third-party lab’ refers to a laboratory that’s 100 percent independent of the company paying for testing. Independence means there’s no business affiliation or monetary incentive involved. It also means that consumers can be confident that all testing was performed in good faith.
In this article, we’ll walk you through different kinds of lab reports and provide real examples from the highly regarded CBD company, NuLeaf Naturals.

Not every CBD company performs a complete set of lab tests. Some only test for cannabinoid potency. Although this is an important test, it’s not the only test that matters. Other tests check for heavy metals, pesticides, terpenes, and more. We’ll talk about each of the CBD lab tests and explain how to read its corresponding lab report.
A cannabinoid profile confirms the percentage of each cannabinoid found in the tested product. Cannabinoids, such as CBD and THC, are the most talked about and studied cannabinoids. Yet, there are many others that have therapeutic benefits as well, such as, CBC, CBN, CBDV, CBDA, and CBG.
To get a deeper understanding of the cannabinoid profile, let’s look at the following example below.

In this lab report, there are a few details to look for right away. First, take note of the CBD company name and the lab who performed the testing. It’s important that these two companies are independent of one another to ensure unbiased results.
In the top left-hand corner, you can see this report was issued by ProVerde Labs. Their name, address, and contact information is also listed at the bottom of this report. Then, you can see the name of the CBD company, NuLeaf Naturals, in the right-hand corner. It appears there is no relation here, and ProVerde Labs is in fact a third-party lab.
Next, look for the product name listed at the top. It’s called ‘Full Spectrum CBD oil’. Why is this important? Well, this product is a full-spectrum oil, which means it contains more than just CBD.
The cannabinoid profile can help confirm the presence of other cannabinoids. This report shows us that six other cannabinoids besides CBD were found in this oil. We see concentrations of D9-THC, CBDV, CBG, CBC, CBN, and CBDA. So far everything checks out.
Now, take a look at the percentage of THC. Remember, a CBD product must contain less than 0.3% THC to maintain its legal status. The cannabinoid profile shows the levels of D9-THC at 0.14%, which falls well within the legal limit.
Everything looks great on this report, now let’s take a look at a few other types of CBD lab tests.

Hemp plants have a unique way of storing heavy metals and other contaminants in their flowers. There is also the chance of heavy metal exposure during the extraction process. That’s why labs check for heavy metals and microbiological contaminants in CBD products. Labs will test the concentrations of four primary heavy metals, including arsenic, cadmium, mercury, and lead.
In the example lab report from ProVerde Labs, you can see the letters ‘ND’ next to each of these heavy metals. The abbreviation stands for none detected. As such, NuLeaf Naturals full-spectrum CBD oil received a “Pass” for each of these four heavy metal tests.
The next section of this lab report checked for microbiological contaminants. This test looks for different kinds of harmful bacteria, molds, and yeast. Clearly, these are not things you want in your CBD product. Based on the testing, the asterisk in the ‘Limits’ column says “All recorded microbiological tests are within the established limits.” Therefore, the status says ‘PASS’ for each one of the contaminants tested.

The next lab report we’re going to look at is called “Pesticide Analysis.” Agricultural crops, especially those grown on a large scale, are at risk of pesticide exposure. To reduce the risk of buying a CBD product with unhealthy chemicals, such as pesticides, it’s important to read over this report.
This table shows the names of analytes, or chemical substances being analyzed. As you scan down the list of analytes, you’ll see that none of these chemicals were detected in the CBD oil. And the ‘Status’ column indicates that nearly all the chemicals in question received a ‘PASS’. Only two of the analytes have an asterisk in the ‘Status’ column which specifies that “no recovery was observed.”

Terpenes are organic compounds found in plants that are responsible for their aroma and flavor diversity. Like cannabinoids, terpenes found in hemp plants have a therapeutic effect on the body. They work synergistically to produce a more effective CBD formula. Each product contains different levels of terpenes depending on the extraction process. In general, it’s better to see a diverse number of terpenes in your CBD oil and at higher levels.

Like the other lab reports, this is an important one to pay attention to. Volatile organic compounds include residual and chemical solvents. And solvents have the potential to break down into carcinogens, like formaldehyde and acetaldehyde.
Carcinogens, such as those in cigarettes and are in no way, shape, or form good for you. So, it goes without saying, that you don’t want them in your CBD oil.
In this lab test, solvents such as propane, butane, acetone, and hexane, were tested for. The results of the test got reported in the ‘Amount’ column. For every compound on this report, the lab found that none of these solvents were detected.
The only compound with an exception was Ethanol. ProVerde Labs placed an asterisk next to it saying, “as many formulations contain flavorings based on ethanol extracts of natural products, no status has been assigned.” Every other solvent on this report was received a ‘PASS’.
NuLeaf Naturals Full-Spectrum CBD oil passed each one of the tests by ProVerde Labs with flying colors.

To access a copy of the lab reports used in this article, please visit the NuLeaf Naturals Lab Test Results Page.
Now that you’ve learned how to read a CBD lab report, you have enough knowledge to go out into the marketplace and find a reputable CBD brand, like NuLeaf Naturals.

]]>The post Honest Goodness Review: CBDistillery 1000mg Full-Spectrum CBD Tincture appeared first on Earlybird CBD Blog.
]]>Oftentimes, consumers will try CBD oil from several different brands before landing on one that works best for them. The products that provide the most benefit to these consumers tend to have one thing in common — a focus on quality.
CBD companies, like CBDistillery, recognize the value that CBD oil can provide to its customers when it’s made with high-quality ingredients and safe manufacturing practices.
In this review, we’ll dive into the details of CBDistillery’s 1000mg Full Spectrum CBD, so you can see how and why it’s a top-rated CBD product.
CBDistillery’s Full Spectrum CBD Tincture comes in a variety of concentrations, but the 1,000 mg per bottle tincture is the company’s best selling. As a full-spectrum CBD product, the tincture contains terpenes and other cannabinoids from the hemp plant in addition to CBD. Terpenes are what give plants their aroma and can also contribute to their color. With the combination of these plant compounds, the result is a more potent CBD oil that produces the entourage effect.
The company’s tincture is made with just two ingredients — MCT coconut oil, and full-spectrum hemp extract. There’s no artificial flavors, preservatives, or colorings, just natural whole plant goodness. As such, the flavor is natural and tastes earthy, which is no surprise considering that’s exactly where it came from!
The color can vary from batch to batch but typically has rich yellow and golden tones, symbolic of a full-spectrum oil. CBD isolates, on the other hand, are clear because the terpenes, cannabinoids, and other plant compounds are removed during extraction.
To make the tincture, CBDistillery starts with U.S. Hemp Authority-certified, non-GMO industrial hemp grown on farms in the United States. These farms don’t spray any pesticides, and they grow the hemp in nutrient-rich soil. The soil is tested annually to check for the presence of heavy metals. As you can see, the most recent third-party lab test report shows no detectable heavy metals or pesticides.

After the hemp is harvested, the aerial parts (all parts that grow above ground) get sent to CBDistillery’s extraction facility. From there, supercritical CO2 extraction is used to extract CBD and other critical compounds from the plant. It then undergoes decarboxylation which is a heating process that activates the CBD.
The product gets tested several times along its journey, and also one final time for the finished product. Once the CBDistillery 1000mg Full Spectrum CBD gets bottled, it is sent to an independent third-party lab for final product testing. These tests look at the cannabinoids profile, potency, and other qualities of the tincture. After looking over the test results, you can verify that the amount of CBD stated on the product label matches the amount in the lab report. You will also see that the lab report shows less than 0.3% THC and therefore complies with the 2018 Farm Bill.
The EarlyBird price for CBDistillery’s Full Spectrum CBD Tincture (1,000mg – 33mg/ml) is $59.99, or approximately $0.06 per mg of CBD. This price is considerably lower than the industry average of $0.13 per mg of CBD for CBD tinctures and oils.
The reason that CBDistillery is able to obtain this excellent price point is not by cutting corners. It’s simply because they’ve been in the industry longer than most companies and have mastered the production of CBD at a significant scale.
Furthermore, this tincture has 33 mg of CBD per serving. At 1,000 mg of CBD per bottle, that’s a total of 30 servings. When taken daily, this product can last up to a month or longer.
When it comes to value, the price point and the potency of CBDistillery’s product is hard to beat.

CBDistillery was co-founded in 2016 by Lincoln Sorenson, Andy Papilion, and Chase Terwilliger. They came together to create a CBD company that would sell affordable, high-quality CBD products while providing full transparency to customers.
At the time, many CBD companies were selling overpriced products and weren’t always upfront about the contents of their products. So, customers didn’t necessarily know how much CBD was inside a tincture they purchased. Transparency was severely lacking, and customers often relied on blind faith when clicking the ‘buy’ button.
CBDistillery not only wanted to be reliable and trusted, but it also intended to be the best company in the CBD industry. This is still a goal it works towards every day.
Besides focusing on clean, safe, and superior CBD products, CBDistillery also aims to be a ‘go-to’ resource for CBD education. This goal inspired them to create the trademarked hashtag — CBDMovement. Under this hashtag, CBDistillery posts educational content and news updates about CBD for its loyal customers and social media followers.
CBDistillery places a big emphasis on keeping customers happy and informed. To help with this mission, the company has a ‘Help Center’, ‘FAQ’, ‘Blog’ and ‘CBD User Guide’ on its website. These resources educate and answer questions from prospective and current customers.
If you can’t find the information you’re looking for through these channels, you can reach out to customer support directly. It’s likely that you’ll get a prompt, helpful, and friendly response. In fact, thousands of customers left positive reviews and testimonials on CBDistillery’s site that mention the company’s great customer support.

CBD users generally start taking CBD oil because they want to attain a better state of health.
We cannot make medical claims about the effects of CBD, so it’s best to do some research to see if it’s right for you.
If you decide to try CBD oil, we have a few tips before you get started.

“I’ve tried several other products out there and they don’t work as well as CBDistillery’s brand. The price is also unbeatable.” Shaun K.
“I received my order quickly. I have had great service and great quality with every product I have purchased from CBDistillery. Keep up the good work!” – Donna S.
“I am so ecstatic to have found CBDistillery! Initially we were buying a product locally, which was more expensive, however, CBDistillery is more budget-friendly but just as effective. So grateful to have found CBDistillery because now I buy for my sons as well! Thank you!” – Rod. G
“I found the Full Spectrum CBD oil to be very effective. It definitely relaxed me and gave me a feeling of calm. Very nice.” – Janet K.
“Of the several CBD formulations I have tried, this is by far the best. Effective and fairly priced; light nutty flavor and no yucky aftertaste. Highly recommend!” – Isabelle D.
CBDistillery’s Full Spectrum CBD Oil is developed from non-GMO, industrial hemp grown in the United States. It’s free of pesticides and heavy metals and lab tested for potency and purity.
It comes in a 30 mL bottle and contains 33 mg of CBD per serving. In total, the tincture has 1,000 mg of full-spectrum CBD which produces the coveted entourage effect. At a price well below the industry average, the value is off the charts.

]]>The post How to Use Nuleaf CBD Oil (with Examples) appeared first on Earlybird CBD Blog.
]]>In this article, we’ll discuss how to use NuLeaf CBD oil so that you can consume the benefits of CBD in an enjoyable and easy way.
NuLeaf Naturals Full Spectrum CBD Oil is made using whole-plant extract. Therefore, it’s rich in CBD, other cannabinoids, like CBC, CBN, and CBG, and terpenes. All these plant compounds work together to create a synergistic relationship known as the entourage effect. The only two ingredients in these oils are — organic hemp oil and full-spectrum hemp extract.
NuLeaf Naturals sources its hemp from licensed farms in Colorado. These farms use sustainable farming practices and only grow organic, non-GMO plants. The hemp plants grow outdoors and are fed Rocky Mountain spring water. In addition, NuLeaf Naturals applies an advanced cloning technique to its hemp plants to enhance the genetic strain.
Before NuLeaf Naturals sells any of its CBD oils, they are sent to third-party labs for testing. The labs check for 200 different pesticides, residual solvents, heavy metals, and other contaminants. Test results show the company’s CBD oils pass all these tests, so you can be assured you’re getting a pure, organic product. Plus, the lab tests show cannabinoid content to verify the amount on the product label is accurate.
Furthermore, the company uses sub- and super-critical CO2 extraction, one of the safest and most gentle extraction processes for making CBD oil. These methods use low pressures and temperatures to help preserve the plant’s compounds. Every part of the company’s diligent and natural process contributes to a potent, consistent, and synergistic CBD oil.
*Although the bottles vary in size and potency, each drop of NuLeaf’s full-spectrum CBD oil has 3mg of CBD.
NuLeaf Naturals was founded in 2014 by a group of friends with a passion for plant medicine. They had a particular fondness of hemp and its botanical properties, so they decided to make CBD products. Since day one, NuLeaf Natural has been committed to helping others achieve health and vitality through its high-quality CBD oils.
Full-spectrum CBD oil is the only type of product the company sells. This clear intention has helped make NuLeaf one of the leading CBD oil companies in America. Not only that, but its products are well-known and liked around the globe.
The name, NuLeaf Naturals, was chosen because of the company’s dedication to making whole plant, organic and non-GMO products. The natural farming practices, natural extraction process, and natural ingredients prove this brand is more than just a name.
Consumers might choose CBD oil over other types of CBD products because of its simplistic application, high absorption rate, and portability.
Yet, there are several ways to use Nuleaf Naturals CBD oil. Let’s discuss the traditional way and some other creative ways of getting your daily dose.
One of the easiest ways to consume CBD oil is to place a few drops under your tongue. This method is known as a sublingual application. If it’s your first time taking CBD oil, start with just a few drops. Hold the oil under your tongue for at least 30 seconds before swallowing. This increases the efficacy of your CBD dose because the oil is being absorbed into your bloodstream and becoming more bioavailable.
When consuming CBD oil this way, it could take anywhere from 20 to 40 minutes to feel the effects. The longer you hold it under your tongue and let it absorb through the tissue in your mouth, the more effective the CBD oil will be.
You can add Nuleaf’s CBD oil to any meal of the day. Oils bind well with fats, so you can infuse the CBD oil with butter, olive oil, or almond butter, before adding it to your toast or salad dressing. Mixing the CBD oil with a healthy fat will increase its benefits and bioavailability.
When ingesting CBD it must pass through the liver and the rest of the digestive tract. Since this delivery method takes longer to reach the bloodstream, compared to a sublingual application, it could take an hour or two to take effect. It also takes more oil than it does when administered sublingually to achieve the same effect.
CBD edibles like brownies and cookies are popular and they’re also a delicious way to enjoy CBD. With a bottle of NuLeaf Naturals CBD oil, you can make your own CBD baked treats right at home. When baking with CBD, use low heat whenever possible. Use a recipe you love that doesn’t require a high-temperature setting. Excessive heat can degrade and decrease the potency of CBD oil.
When it doubt, use the oil in one of your raw dessert recipes, like chocolate fudge bites or mini cheesecakes.
Many brands are creating lotions and other creams with CBD in them. A little known secret about NuLeaf’s CBD oil is that it is great to use on your skin. CBD Creams and Topicals have become increasingly popular these days, and many people don’t realize that you can just use this oil directly on your skin.
The oil is rich in vitamins and cannabinoids. It works great and is a natural moisturizer. We think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
There’s no one-size-fits-all approach with CBD dosing because of factors like body weight, health challenges, and whether you’re taking any prescription medications. However, the good news is, CBD has a good safety profile, very few side effects, and no established lethal dose.
When starting out, some of the best guidance to follow is to start low and go slow. Take some time to find your ideal dose. Gradually work your way up until you find the sweet spot. If you want a little more quantifiable guidance, consider using your body weight as a guide.
As a low daily dose, take 1 to 2 mg of CBD for every 10 pounds of body weight. For example, if you weigh 150 pounds, your daily dose could fall somewhere between 15 and 30 mg.

]]>The post Suzie’s CBD Treats: Honest Goodness Review appeared first on Earlybird CBD Blog.
]]>During his recovery, he initially found relief in the form of opioids, yet wanted something more natural to help ease his pain. Then Richard discovered and started using CBD.
The next step was to try it out with Suzie. She was also dealing with aches and pains in her later years, and this made it harder to do the things the two enjoyed.
Richard started out by giving Suzie a CBD pet treat of his own concoction each morning and evening. Sure enough, Suzie started feeling more like her old self and had more energy. Not long after, the two were both able to take long walks again with ease and comfort.
At this point, Richard decided other dogs and pets should have access to CBD treats. He teamed up with some passionate pet lovers who had lots of hemp and CBD knowledge.
Together, with his new team, Suzie’s CBD Treats came to life. Since the formation of the company, Suzie has sadly passed away. Now, as the inspiration behind Suzie’s CBD pet treats, her memory continues to live on, and her smile adorns every package.
The mission of making healthy CBD treats for pets at affordable prices has been the cornerstone of this business. Many pets and grateful pet owners are reaping the benefits of the company’s dedication to pet wellness products.
Caleb is the Co-Founder and President of Suzie’s CBD Treats, and was a personal friend of Richard’s before coming on-board. When Richard thought about starting Suzie’s, he approached Caleb with his idea. Caleb was excited about the venture, and turned out to be the perfect fit. He took on the role with enthusiasm and an unmatched commitment to Suzie’s mission.
Caleb is an innovator, a bold and respected leader, and wise beyond his years. His vibrant energy is felt wherever he goes which inspires his team daily to create high-quality products for pets around the country.
The company’s hemp farm is located in Fort Collins, Colorado and utilized all organic farming practices. It is one of the few CBD companies to employ a vertically integrated manufacturing process. This means they manage the entire production process themselves – from seed to shelf. Suzie’s team grows the hemp, tends to the soil, harvests the plants by hand, performs the CBD extraction process, bakes and packages the treats. In this way, they have absolute control over the quality of their CBD pet treats and tinctures.
Suzie’s hemp farm is open for public visits, and since they’re a cooperative business, they host volunteers who want to lend a hand and be part of the day to day farm activities.
Suzie’s pet treats contain full-spectrum CBD. Unlike isolates, a full spectrum product contains the benefits of the whole plant. These benefits include other cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids that work in harmony to make CBD more effective.
The pet treat company never uses chemical sprays like pesticides or herbicides on their plants. Instead, they take a natural approach to growing their hemp, even when it’s more expensive. For example, beneficial bugs that act as pest control are used during extreme cases. In other cases, they might prune the plants and use Neem oil.
Suzie’s uses food-grade organic ethanol to extract the CBD from its plants. Ethanol is a plant solvent made from plants. It’s safe for use with humans and animals, and is one of the best methods for preserving the plant’s natural compounds. Moreover, the extraction method is sustainable because the ethanol gets recycled.

Sadly, many CBD companies don’t sell top-notch quality products that consumers can count on. As such, customers should exercise judgment before buying a CBD product for their pets. One thing to look out for is third party laboratory results. Suzie’s CBD Treats provide lab testing reports right on their website.
These reports show the potency of CBD, other cannabinoid levels, and residual solvents. These lab tests also verify that the content levels of THC in their products fall under the legal limit of 0.3%.
Even more, Suzie’s takes the extra step to have every single batch of product lab tested. Plus, the team at Suzie’s personally tests the products themselves. They wouldn’t sell anything before trying it first. Safety, purity, and consistency remain at the forefront of Suzie’s promise to customers and their furry companions.
Suzie’s CBD Treats include the number of milligrams of CBD per treat or per bottle. Also included on the product label is a suggested dose based on the pet’s size and weight. The recommendation starts with one milligram for every 10 pounds of body weight taken in a morning and an evening dose.
This is a general guideline and conservative estimate for pets taking CBD for the first time. You can always adjust the dose based on your pet’s response to the treat or tincture. CBD has a favorable safety profile based on scientific evidence, but it’s always a good rule of thumb to start low and slow. This gives your pet enough time to adjust to the product and for you to gauge how he or she feels after consuming CBD.
There aren’t many known interactions between CBD and prescription medications, but it’s best to consult with your veterinarian before giving your pet CBD or any supplement. Suzie’s Pet Treats even has a recommend a reputable vet that books phone consultations so you can speak to someone about a holistic approach to your pet’s medication needs.
Currently, there are three unique dog biscuit flavors that Suzie’s CBD Treats sells – Apple, Pumpkin, and Original. Here is the list of ingredients for each biscuit flavor.
The full-spectrum CBD tinctures for cats and dogs have various strengths as indicated by the CBD content shown in milligrams on each bottle. Besides the organic full-spectrum CBD, the tinctures also contain a pure organic safflower oil sourced from Colorado.
Furthermore, all of Suzie’s products contain less than 0.3% THC, and there is no gluten, preservatives, corn, soy, or artificial flavors in any of their products. Oh yeah, and on top of that, all ingredients, including the hemp, are non-GMO.
Finally, Suzie’s CBD Treats is a company that has a genuine love for animals. To show their support for animals, they donate 10 percent of their profits and 100 percent of their swag sales to local animal shelters. Additionally, they provide these shelters free CBD treats to help mitigate the effects of shelter stress.
Moreover, the CBD treats often make their way to the homes of pet parents who adopt from the shelters. This can help the animal with the transition from shelter to a forever home. All in all, Suzies CBD Treats is a company that we like (for obvious reasons), and we think you and your pet will love them too.

]]>The post Honest Goodness Review: NuLeaf Naturals CBD appeared first on Earlybird CBD Blog.
]]>NuLeaf Naturals established its company in 2014 with one goal in mind. To help people live more vibrant and healthy lives. The founders are health-conscious individuals with a passion for plant medicine, and in particular, hemp. With their knowledge of the hemp plant and passion for helping others, NuLeaf Naturals was born. And it’s now one of the leading CBD oil companies in America.
Currently they specialize in making CBD oils, and are committed to producing the highest quality oils on the market and reaching a wider audience of customers. So far, they have accomplished both of these objectives. NuLeaf Naturals currently ships to all 50 states in the U.S. where hemp-derived CBD oil is legal, as well as 40 other countries around the globe.
Their name NuLeaf Naturals originated from the idea of creating only organic products. Which meant their CBD oils would be grown organically and be free of any additives and preservatives. Guess what, that’s exactly what their products are. As evidence of their commitment to these high standards of quality, each bottle of CBD oil is rigorously tested by third-party labs. This ensures their products are 100 percent organic, and free of by-products, fillers, and additives. Plus, the lab testing indicates the oils contain optimal amounts of the cannabinoid, CBD.
Furthermore, NuLeaf Naturals uses an advanced cloning technique to enhance the natural genetic strain of their hemp plants. This technique also helps to provide a safe end-product, with unrivaled consistency and potency. In addition, they use the most innovative and gentle extraction process to make their oils. In doing so, their products contain a full spectrum of cannabinoids, terpenes, and essential oils. All together, this combination leads to a potent and synergistic CBD oil.
So, the next time you hear the name NuLeaf Naturals, you’ll know a whole lot more about them. If that was too much detail, you can remember their vision statement. It reads, “our vision is to pave the way for a line of cannabinoid wellness products that promote a healthy body and mind.”
NuLeaf Naturals CBD oils are available in five different sizes. No matter which size bottle you buy, you can rest assured knowing each drop of oil contains the same exact amount of CBD, which is 3 mg.
Ingredients: There is only one ingredient in Nuleaf Naturals CBD Oil, and that is, hemp.
There are a few different ways to consume their CBD oil. First, you can apply a sublingual dose, which means place the oil under your tongue, then hold it for 30-60 seconds. When you can keep the oil under your tongue for at least one minute, it leads to a more efficient and better absorption rate than swallowing it sooner. Secondly, you can use the oil topically, by massaging it directly on a problem area. The CBD will absorb topically through your skin as well as act as a moisturizer. Finally, you can mix the oil into your favorite food or smoothie as an added supplement.

NuLeaf Naturals is one of the few CBD suppliers that manufactures their own genuine full spectrum cannabinoid extract. Full spectrum means the oil contains more than just CBD. Nuleaf’s Full Spectrum oil uses the whole plant to create their oil, and the end result is an oil rich in cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, and other essential oils. When all the cannabinoids work together, they create a synergistic and more effective relationship. This is often referred to as the entourage effect. So, although the cannabinoid most present in NuLeaf Naturals CBD oils, is CBD, there are significant amounts of other cannabinoids as well. These secondary cannabinoids include CBC, CBG, CBN, CBDA, and CBDV.
To learn more about full spectrum CBD, read our recent article “Full Spectrum CBD: A Brief Overview”
All hemp plants grown on NuLeaf Naturals farms are organic and non-GMO. So, no pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides touch the plants. They also grow in an environment with sustainable farming practices.Since additives, preservatives, flavorings, and emulsifiers don’t get added to the oil, the product maintains its pure, natural state.
Before any bottle of NuLeaf Naturals CBD gets sold, it’s subjected to third-party laboratory testing. The labs look for more than 200 different pesticides, herbicides, fungi, mold, and heavy metals. The testing also captures the potency level, in milligrams, of each cannabinoid. These tests ensure that NuLeaf Naturals are free of toxins and contain optimal amounts of CBD and other plant compounds. They do this for the sake of their customers because they prioritize the safety and consistency of all their products. They’re happy to provide you a copy of their lab testing results here.
NuLeaf Naturals uses the CO2 extraction method for their products to extract the beneficial plant compounds found in hemp. According to industry standards, CO2 is regarded as the best extraction process. Nuleaf utilizes both sub-critical and super-critical C02 extraction methods when creating their product. Sub-critical C02 extraction is performed at lower temperatures and takes longer the more widely used super-critical C02 process.
The sub-critical CO2 method employs lower pressures and temperatures than super-critical CO2 and has the advantage of preserving more of the sensitive compounds in the plant. When both sub-critical and super-critical techniques are combined, the end result is a potent oil complete with whole-plant compounds that includes cannabinoids, terpenes, phytochemicals, vitamins, trace minerals, omega fatty acids, and other essential oils. By using these extraction methods, no toxins, heavy metals, or chemicals contaminate the final product.
NuLeaf Naturals grows all their hemp plants on licensed farms in Colorado. Which happens to be the same state they’re headquartered in. All their plants receive plenty of sunshine and get fed Rocky Mountain spring water. Their priority is to grow hemp the way nature intended, properly cultivate it, and harvest it at peak perfection.

Before buying CBD oil from any company, it’s important to evaluate the color, smell, and taste of the product. We’ll explain why these three qualities of CBD oil are important.
The color of CBD oil can vary from shades of gold, dark brown, and tinted green. It’s the phytochemicals and leftover plant matter that determine what color the oil will be. The extraction method plays a big part in how much of these components remain.
A gold color signifies a clean, pure product. A darker oil may signify higher temperatures used in the extraction process or may be because of the solvent used in the extraction. Ethanol extraction is known to produce darker oils due to capturing more chlorophyll from the plant. While different colors signify different extraction techniques, color is not a great indication of the CBD content of the product. Many companies disclose how their oil gets processed, which can give you insight into the purity and color of the oil.
NuLeaf Naturals CBD oil is a clean gold color with a slightly greenish tint. This makes sense given they use sub-critical CO2 extraction. Since the only ingredient in their CBD oil is hemp, a pure greenish-gold color falls right in line with expectations.
The smell of CBD oil is another indicator of the type of processing method used. NuLeaf Naturals CBD oils smell as any pure organic product would, natural and unadulterated. CBD oil that’s natural means it has an earthly, and leafy smell, that’s slightly pungent. In NuLeaf Naturals case, the smell points to the absence of added flavorings or excessive filtration.
NuLeaf Naturals CBD oil definitely has an earthy taste, with woody and tart tones. If you’ve never tried CBD oil before, this taste can take some getting used to (like the first cup of coffee you ever drank). Yet, this taste represents a 100 percent organic product that doesn’t use any additives. So, in the case of CBD oil, taste most likely isn’t your deciding factor when looking for a high-quality product. If you’re looking for a particular ‘flavor’, then you’ll want a product that includes flavorings and/or additives. If a high-quality, pure and potent oil is what you’re after, then NuLeaf Naturals CBD oil could be for you.
Now that you’ve learned all about NuLeaf Naturals, read what a few of their customers and the Cannabis Insider said about their CBD oil.
